Cleanup Day

Volunteers gathered Sunday morning for coffee, donuts and bagels before undertaking some cleanup, maintenance and beautification tasks. Trash was cleaned up in a number of spots. The posts holding the new cluster signs were sealed to prevent water damage and handsome plants were installed by two of the welcome signs on H-Block. Work was done to shore up the pathway along the A-Block bulkhead.

The participants included:
Doug and Kathy Evans (the Cleanup organizer)
    Gerald Rankine-Galloway
Maureen and George Broderick (see photo)
    Fran and John Lovaas
    Eric Esplund
    Cindy and Van Foster
    Phil Maisel

Cluster Cleanup and Beautify, Sunday, April 15th at 9:30

We know you've all saved the flyer about the cleanup and beautify event this Sunday, but, just as a reminder, we'll meet on the plaza near the horse sculpture to share bagels and coffee before moving on to the common areas for the main event.  Tasks may include sealing the tops and sides of our new signs, planting flowers, filling in holes by the bulkheads, and general clean up.
In case of rain, we'll reschedule for April 22nd.
